My friend Catarina wanted a baby quilt for a friend who's expecting and the baby's name on the bag. My embroidering skills are quite limited (some practice is badly needed) but the result is sweet. Bags are very easy to make, they take just another half an hour to put together and your gift is complete with no need for paper and tape!
Great gift! Did you free motion quilt the name? I think it looks really good - not perfect and stiff like most personalized stuff.

ReplyDeleteI don't do free-motion because I don't have the proper foot. I tried to embroider with no foot at all but it is even more difficult. I contacted the Pfaff distributer here in Porto and they told me that there is no free-motion foot for my 20-year old model... but they are not the better informed people. I must contsct Pfaff directly one of these days!
